John James Audubon, the legendary illustrator of birds, lived in Washington Heights towards the end of his life. NYC Parks selected QRP to completely redesign the playground that bears his name as part of the Community Parks Initiative. The firm is also redesigning Playgrounds 134 and 174, both in the Bronx.
