Quennell
Rothschild & Partners collaborated with Rafael Vinoly Architects in the design of the landscape
for the Carl C. Ichan Laboratory, a new laboratory
building housing the Lewis- Sigler Institute for
Integrative Genomics on the campus of Princeton
University. The landscape of this project completes the
first segment of the "Ellipse Walk", a new tree-lined
campus walkway that defines the edge of the University's
intramural fields. The ellipse walk intersects a
small entrance plaza planted with a grove of Paperbark
Maple trees and continues in an arc through the arcade
created by the sun-shading louver system of the Ichan
Laboratory.
