Rothschild & Partners has designed several projects at Trinity
College, including restoration of historic Long Walk Quadrangle;
the redesign of Vernon Street, which originally formed the
school's northern boundary, and which is now a vibrantly active
extension of the core campus; a complete reorganization of
outdoor sports facilities; and improvements to parking and
service areas.
In 2000 we carried out a Landscape Master
Plan for the campus. This plan, completed in 2002,
describes the character of different areas of the campus and
establishes criteria for preservation and potential change.
A coherent set of materials and street furniture were
proposed, together with long-term, ecologically sound,
strategies for the care and reforestation of the school's
many fine trees and for development of policies for the
campus' maintenance.
